The Scope of Services for this Request generally includes but is not limited to the design, fabrication, delivery, installation, and commissioning of a multi-purpose, rubber tired mobile harbor crane ("MHC") for use in unloading vessels at the PCCA's existing Cargo Dock 8 facility. Below, is a map of the PCCA Inner Harbor that highlights the location of the project The Mobile Harbor Crane ("MHC") will be used primarily for unloading break-bulk commodities and general cargo from ocean going vessels or barges to the Cargo Dock 8 apron or onto trucks. A secondary use will be for unloading / loading dry bulk productsfrom ocean going vessels or barges. Dry bulk products will be discharged to or reclaimed from theCargo Dock 8 apron adjacent to the MHC. Road access is via Harbor Drive, by way of US-181 from the north or I-37 S from the south. Rail services are provided by the BNSF, Kansas City Southern and Union Pacific Railroads through rail switching services provided by PCCA's contracted Short Line Railroad Operator.
