The City of Bryan is soliciting bids for 2022 Miscellaneous Collection Line Rehabilitation. The project involves the rehabilitation and installation of 6", 8" & 10" sanitary sewer lines and manholes in several different locations within the City of Bryan and consists of the following: 11,725 LF 6" HDPE SDR 17 Sanitary Sewer Line, via Pipe Bursting 6" Pipe 3,725 LF 8" HDPE SDR 17 Sanitary Sewer Line, via Pipe Bursting 8" Pipe 1,600 LF 10" HDPE SDR 17 Sanitary Sewer Line, via Pipe Bursting 10" Pipe 1,400 LF 12" HDPE SDR 17 Sanitary Sewer Line, via Pipe Bursting 10" Pipe 60 EA 4' Standard Sanitary Sewer Manhole 250 EA Reinstatement of existing sewer lateral connection Question Cuttoff Date & Time 8/3/2022 11:00:00 AM (ET) September/October 2022: Anticipated date of award. An executed Bidder's Bond or Cashier's Check for an amount equal to 5% of the greatest amount of the bid. The bidder's original corporate seal must be affixed to the bid bond, or a resolution from the corporation's directors must accompany the bond that authorizes an individual to sign the bid proposal on behalf of the corporation The undersigned agrees to complete the work within 200 working days from the date designated by the Notice to Proceed. When the contract amount is $25,000 or more, a performance and a payment bond in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract documents and payment to all persons supplying labor and materials, and for the protection of the City and all other persons against damage by reason of negligence of the Contractor, or improper execution of the work, or the use of inferior materials shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall accompany the signed contract. Bidders are required to submit one (1) original bid. Bids must be completed and submitted on the forms found within the Specifications. Incomplete bid forms will invalidate the bid and the bid will be rejected and returned to the bidder. The right to accept any bid, or to reject any or all Bids and to waive all formalities is hereby reserved by the City of Bryan, Texas.
