Pedestrian Crossing Safety Enhancement Project Solar RRFB Pedestrian Crossings on NE Halsey Street between 244th Ave. and Wood Village Blvd Wood Village is seeking bids for the construction of three crosswalks with ADA curb ramps, center-median refuge islands, and solar-powered RRFB traffic controls. Work shall include all procurement, demolition, construction, and striping described in the project plans and specifications. The Contractor shall construct three crosswalks with ADA-compliant curb ramps, center-median refuge islands, and solar-powered RRFB traffic controls along Halsey Street at locations specified in the project plans. Work shall include all procurement, demolition, construction, and striping described in the project plans and specifications. Assembly and installation of beacons must be performed according to manufacturer and engineer standards by a qualified electrician. Additionally, temporary traffic control and stormwater control will be required. A schedule for the project will be provided by the contractor to assist with disseminating information to our residents. The City will be responsible for contacting the school district, Gresham Fire, Multnomah County Sheriff's office and delivery services including US Postal. All work is within Multnomah County Right-of-Way and is done under permit and approval of the Multnomah County Transportation department. The City will procure the ROW permit from the County, and the Contractor shall be responsible for all additional permits.
