Works to be provided for this project shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and services for the construction and installation as follows: Replacement of the existing wash press, including procurement and installation of a new wash press, screw conveyors, and a self-contained leveling cover; ancillary work shall include demolition of existing wash press, hopper, screw conveyors, and related equipment; modification of hopper structure to support new equipment; installation of a self-contained leveling cover and connection to existing odor control piping; and all appurtenant work to provide a complete project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Replacement of the existing caustic scrubber, including procurement and installation of a dry media scrubber and accommodations for temporary scrubbing during construction; ancillary work shall include spot repairs and modifications to the existing slab foundation, electrical connection to the scrubber control panel, installation of new conduit, conductors, pipe supports, fiberglass reinforced plastic ducting and all appurtenant work to provide a complete project in accordance with the plans and specifications.
