Working plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of October 17, 2022, this project has been cancelled due to all bids rejected. No definite date for the rebid. Josephine County Parks is accepting bids for Phase 1 of the Whitehorse County Park Campground Renovation project. This project requires the contractor to supply all expertise, personnel, equipment and materials for renovation of 24 tent sites into twenty (20) RV sites and ten (10) tent sites, with all new infrastructure and utilities. Work will include installation of a new pre-fabricated restroom and shower building, grading and excavation, paving new roads and existing roads, erosion and sediment control, site accessories, water storage, pump house and lines, sewer system, cleanouts and lines, electrical, including trenching, pedestals and lighting, installation of utilities, and other related work. Pre-bid Conference: No pre-bid conference will be held for this project; however, Bidders are encouraged to make a site visit to become familiar with the project. The class of work for which Bidders must be prequalified is Construction.
