The Queen Anne's County Sanitary District invites interested firms to submit a sealed Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to perform a Water Service Area Optimization Study for the Queen Anne's County Sanitary District. This study will update the County's 2009 potable water study (available upon request) and its associated distribution system model (prepared in 2009 using WaterCadd software) by o confirming data, o adding new service areas, o adding interconnections between distribution systems (which have occurred since the 2009 model was finalized), and o adding other major components as required. Results of the model will then be used to evaluate the feasibility of optimizing the systems of the County's five (5) water service areas. Study will also model available fire flows throughout the system suitable for local volunteer fire departments and ISO purposes. The requirements for Qualifications including instructions, requirements, and formatting for the SOQ may be secured at the Queen Anne's County Sanitary District's office located at 310 Bateau Drive, Stevensville, MD 21666 or downloaded from the qac.org web site ("Doing Business/Bid Opportunities").
