Bids will be accepted only from Plan Holders of Record. In order to be a Plan Holder of Record, Bidding Documents must be purchased from the Issuing Office by contacting Tammy Segieth by phone at 614-761-1661 or email at tsegieth@v3co.com. Bidding Documents are available to be e-mailed in portable document format (PDF) at a non-refundable charge of $30.00. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained for a non-refundable payment of $50.00 plus a non-refundable fee of $10.00 for shipping. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders Date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The bid form and all line items on the bid form must be completed in full. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. The Village of Hebron reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Hebron. A Performance Bond in the form included in the Contract Documents will be required of the successful bidder, at Contractors own cost and expense, for the faithful performance of the Contract and payment for all labor and material and to indemnify and save harmless the Village of Hebron and its Village Council, officials, officers, personnel, and agents from claims, suits, and actions. The amount of Performance Bond shall be based on one hundred per cent (100%) of the bid price for which the Contract is awarded. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, obtained at the bidders own cost and expense, in the form included in the Contract Documents, executed by the bidder and a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio and satisfactory to the Village of Hebron or by a certified check payable to the Village of Hebron on a solvent bank satisfactory to the Village, either of which shall be in a sum no less than ten per cent (10%) of the amount hereinafter required for the Performance Bond.
