The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is soliciting proposals and bids to provide road stabilization by polymer injection. This work will consist of soil stabilization and lift work on a very highly traveled trucking route running from New York to Vermont on Rt 149 RM 1045 in the Town of Queensbury, NY in Warren County. The approximate area to cover is 200' (L) x 32'(W) stretch of a 2-Lane asphalt roadway that has developed multiple dips in the roadway and shoulders. Interested business entities can also inquire as to availability of the Bid Package in writing, and are encouraged to inquire via email to "Purch-Assist@dot.ny.gov", stating their interest in the release of the IFB, and requesting to be placed on the Bidder's List. When requesting a bid solicitation package, please provide full business entity name, address, contact telephone number, and the business entity's federal employer identification number (FEIN). Bid solicitation material can be obtained through the CR Ad, requested electronically (via email) or hard copy (via mail). Such inquiries should include the phrase "BA22-006: Road stabilization by polymer injection" in the Subject Line of the email. If you do not have access to email, please call the Purchasing Office at (518) 457-4401. (Due to statutory restrictions on Procurement Lobbying, no DOT employee may disclose any "material information" related to this proposed procurement to any other person not employed by DOT prior to the public release of the actual IFB. The term "material information" does not apply to ministerial matters such as the time and place and manner of submitting a bid proposal, or the anticipated IFB release date. Although this advertisement designates official contact persons with respect to this proposed procurement, additional "limited contact" persons may be identified in the IFB.) The New York State Department of Transportation, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally--assisted programs of the Department of Transportation and Title 23 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200, Title VI Program and Related Statutes, as amended, issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all who respond to a written Department solicitation, request for proposal or invitation for bid that it will affirmatively insure that in any contact entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability/handicap and income status in consideration for an award. For purposes of this procurement, the NYS Department of Transportation has conducted a comprehensive search and determined this contract does not offer sufficient opportunities to set goals for participation by certified DBE, MWBE, and/or SDVOB firm subcontractors, service providers, and suppliers. This project may present a direct opportunity for certified firms to participate as prime contractors and certified firms are encouraged to submit bids. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No NYSDOT Purchase will accept inquiries and requests for clarification relative to this IFB/Contract until C.O.B., 8/4/2022 Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years:
