Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Fruitvale, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
a. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Locality or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. b. The bid bond or its comparable will be returned to the Bidder as soon as practical after the opening of the bids. A 100% Performance Bond is required on all the contracts in excess of $100,000. A 100% Payment Bond is required on all contracts in excess of $50,000. If the contract is less than $100,000, the OWNER may hold all payment until final completion in lieu of the Performance Bond. If the contract is less than $50,000, the OWNER may also choose to waive the Payment Bond. A 100% Maintenance Bond is required on all contracts. Such bonds must be issued by a corporate surety authorized to do business in the State of Texas.
