Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Platteville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the project. In general the work consists of: removal and replacement of concrete topping and concrete sidewalk at the west entrance of Ullsvik Hall. Work also includes the replacement of the waterproof membrane on the elevated walkway, cleaning and protection of all steel supports and reinforcement, patching and repair of precast panels and masonry veneer. Painting of the precast panels and application of a traffic coating on the elevated walkway. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
