The project consists of the installation of ADA curb ramps and replacement of existing sidewalk at various locations. Any questions regarding the project shall be submitted in writing to: CIP@cityofwoodland.org The successful bidder must possess a current, valid Class A, General Engineering and/or a Class C-8, Concrete Contractors License issued by the State of California. The City's estimated cost of the improvements for base bid only is $100,000 to $130,000; the cost of base bid plus all alternates is $190,000 to $250,000. All bids must be sealed and accompanied by cash, cashier's check, certified check, or Bid Bond made payable to the City in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. For the purposes of this Section, "the amount of the bid" includes all additive alternates but does not include deductive alternates. Prior to the performance of any work hereunder, the successful bidder shall be required to furnish both a payment bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price and a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. All bonds are to be secured from a surety company acceptable to the City and that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, and is authorized by the State of California, and all documents required by Code of Civil Procedure section 995.660, to the extent required by law. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
