Bids are solicited for furnishing the goods, supplies, equipment and/or services as set forth in this solicitation. SCOPE: The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids for valve preventive maintenance services, which shall consist of locating, exercising, performing minor repairs, and documenting condition of valves within the SAWS water distribution system. The SAWS water distribution system has over 151,000 valves of various types, and it is anticipated that this contract will touch at least 5% of those valves annually. Under normal operations a minimum of 32 valves per day is expected. Overnight, afterhours, weekends and holidays under normal operation a minimum of 20 valves per night is expected.
