Following all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, safely remove all debris and scrap items located at the DPUs Sub # 2 Yard located on Greenville Street (behind the Orangeburg County Fair Grounds) in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Contractors can meet onsite to review the site and work. Removal and disposal of all debris associated clean up and light grading / excavation per code (less than 1 acre). The DPU will provide suitable roll off containers and pay for these services. Contractor must coordinate inspection of roll off containers with DPU staff. Contractor must not overfill containers provided and must comply with Waste Management guidelines on what material can go in each container. The DPU has a scrap laydown yard which contains used pipe (pvc, ductile iron, cast iron, etc.) as well as used utility poles (creosote, penta treated, aluminum, steel and fiberglass) all of which are scrapped (damaged and or aged and removed from service). Contractor must be licensed to perform work in Orangeburg, SC. Contractor must remove all used scrap items in the containers provided. Light grading of surplus dirt, rock and fill will be required. Contractor must provide equipment and labor to complete project (excavator, bull dozer or skid steer). Must comply with all the DPU vendor requirements contained in the attachment. The RFP response form must be completed and returned to the DPU. Contractor must agree to the attached contract (sample provided). The DPU has provided a draft contract and map of the area in question. Contractors who want to visit the site or have inspection questions are directed to contact Joshua Nexsen before the RFP response date. Contractor may meet DPU staff onsite to review the area.
