Section I - 4th Street Water Main Replacement (St. John Street to Goddard Road) o Remove approx. 400 square feet of existing walk; o Remove approx. 400 square yards of existing pavement; o Flowable fill approx. 700 feet of existing water main; o Remove (2) existing Gate Valve and Well; o Remove approx. 100 lineal foot of existing Water Main; o Construct approx. 400 square feet of 4 inch non-reinforced concrete walk, MDOT Grade S2, 4,000psi on 4 inch sand Base; o Construct approx. 50 square yards of 6 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; o Construct approx. 350 square yards of 7 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; o Construct approx. 350 square yards of 3 inch HMA Wearing Course, Super Pave 5E10; o Construct approx. 350 lineal foot of Concrete Curb and Gutter, MDOT Grade P1; o Install approx. 125 feet of DI Water main via excavation method; size varies 6 inch to 8 inch in dia.; o Install approx. 700 feet of 8 inch pre-chlorinated Fusible PVC C900, DR18 via directional Drilling; o Construct (2) 8 inch valve in 5 ft dia. Well; o Install (1) 1- Storz connection Fire Hydrant & Hydrant Assemblies; o Reconnect approx. (9) water services (+-3 Lead Services to be replaced); o Traffic Control Devices and Restoration; o All other related work; Section II - Water Main Repair along 22 nd St. North of Clark St. & 22 nd St. Intersection Owner will provide all adaptors, solid sleeves for the repair connections. Contractor shall be responsible for the below items: o Remove approx. 100 square yards of existing pavement; o Remove approx. 30 lineal foot of existing Water Main; o Provide approx. 40 lineal foot of 16 inch Ductile iron, CL54; o Two (2) Reconnections to exist. 16 inch concrete water main; o Construct (1) 16 inch valve in 6 ft dia. Well; o Construct approx. 100 square yards of 3 inch HMA Wearing Course, Super Pave 5E10; o Construct approx. 100 square yards of 8 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade P1, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; o Pre-chlorinate approx. 3,000 lineal foot of 16 inch concrete water main; o Traffic Control Devices; o All other related work; For 4th Street Water Main Replacement St. John Street to Goddard Road And Water Main Repair Along 22nd Street North Of Clark Street and 22nd Street Intersection All inquiries shall be directed to C.E. A properly completed Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashiers Check in a sum not less than five (5) percent of the proposed amount of the proposal submitted, shall accompany each proposal as security for acceptance of the Contract by the lowest qualified bidder. Should the Contractor fail to enter into a Contract agreement with the Owner, through no fault of the Owner, he shall forfeit the entire amount of the security to the Owner.
