Approx. construction cost - $65,000 - $75,000 The City of Monessen has established Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) minimum participation levels (MPLs) and HUD Section 3 participation is required for contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MBE/WBE MPSs are five percent for MBE and three percent for WBE of the dollar amount of the bid for this contract. The Contractor must make a "Good Faith Effort" to solicit MBE/WBE participation and Section 3 participation as is applicable for the project. The contractor should use the attached form - MBE/WBE SECTION 3 CONTRACT SOLICITATION AND COMMITMENT STATEMENT as documentation efforts to solicit MBE/WBE and Section 3 participation. The City of Monessen reservesthe right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
