As of August 18, 2023, project was awarded to Knife River Corporation awarded amount is $3,841,870.09. The project consists of constructing 0.497 miles of urban streets including, but not limited to the following: clearing & grubbing, removals, common excavation, borrow excavation, topsoil, erosion control, aggregate base course, hot bituminous pavement, concrete pavement, mobilization, traffic control, pipe conduit, manholes, inlets, storm sewer, curb & gutter, shared use path, signing, pavement marking, lighting system, and other items, plus incidentals, as fully described in the bid documents and construction drawings. Questions during bidding should be directed to the McKenzie County Engineer's Office, Grace Demars at (701) 444-7168. McKenzie County reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted and to hold all bids for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from said date of opening and to hold the three low bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from said date of bid opening. McKenzie County does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or disability in its solicitation of bids.
