Project Location: Department of Veterans Affairs, 150 S Huntington Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Magnitude Of Construction: Between $250,000 and $500,000. SOW: Work regarding the asbestos abatement of floor tiles, carpet and mastic for the first floor of building #1 on rooms, D1-147, D1-149, D150, D1-150A, D1-150B and D1-151, remove existing and provide new acoustical ceiling, LED acoustical ceiling lamps and emergency lamps, remove floors and provide all new floors with commercial LVT and Johnsonite 6 inch vinyl base ( colors TBD by VA), 4 new sprinklers on existing system, eliminate 2 doors on hallway, 4 new HM doors with frame and hardware, 2 bullet proof doors (All doors and door hardware to be submitted by contractor for VA approval before commencing construction), primer and paint all rooms, stainless steel counter top on room D1-150, wall cabinets on rooms D1-150 &D1-149, safety and security film on exterior windows, PIV access control on all doors (rooms D1-150 &D1-149 need PIV card and key pad access control), new HVAC unit with all ducts necessary for rooms D1-147, D1-149, D150, D1-150A, D1-150B and D1-151. 148 calendar days after receipt of written Notice to Proceed is the task order performance period. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
