Spruce Street MassWorks Improvement Project Worcester, MA. The project includes water and sewer line installation, drainage, full-depth pavement, curbing, lighting, landscaping, and other associated work tasks. Schedule requirements are provided in the bid documents. The prospective bidders must be experienced in roadway and highway construction for projects of at least $900,000 and familiar with MassDOT and City of Worcester DPWP standards. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual. MA Prevailing wage rates and labor goals will apply. Any and all questions must be referred in writing by email to: Kevin Dandrade (TEC, Inc.) at kdandrade@theengineeringcorp.com AND Rich Mazzocchi (Parcel 5 Holdings LLC) at mazzocchi@bostoncapital.com A modification or waiver will not be granted because a contractor wishes to use an existing workforce that does not achieve the goals of 38% of total work hours to be worked by minorities and 10% of total work hours to be worked by women; and, if subcontracting does not meet the goals of 10% of the contract value for Minority Business Enterprises and 5% of the contract value to Women Business Enterprises.
