Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Morgantown, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will replace existing sidewalks at the North end of the terminal building with ADA compliant sidewalks, bringing those walkways into compliance with the federal regulations. This will also extend the sidewalks from the terminal to Mileground Road. This will provide for a safe passage way for both pedestrians and bicyclists. Design of this project is currently underway creating the construction documents for bid and construction in FY2023. Project is included in the City of Morgantown's FY 2023-2027 CIP. As of September 6, 2022, information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2023.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
