Engineers range of probable cost is $183,000 to $237,000 Wastewater Treatment Plant Remediation Project at S. First Street, Catawissa, PA 17820 The Project consists of the demolition and replacement of the existing WWTP aeration system piping and diffusers, clarifier skimmers, and valves. Bids shall be sealed in an opaque envelope and clearly marked as "Catawissa Borough - Wastewater Treatment Plant Remediation Project Bid." The envelope must also bear the name and address of the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him/her. Catawissa Borough reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
