This solicitation is a request for proposal under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and awarded as a firm-fixed price construction contract. All reference to discussions shall not be interpreted under FAR Part 15, but rather indicates that the Government may communicate with offers as allowed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. 2. IAW FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is anticipated under $25,000. 3. Contractors shall follow instruction in section L of the solicitation. All material shall be approved and conform with specifications. US Fish and Wildlife Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge will remove and dispose existing sign and provide the new 4-foot by 8-foot standard entrance sign constructed of high density urethane (HDU). Firm Fixed Price Contract The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within [10] ten calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than ninety [90] days. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises.
