NO- 81212 Project- 42444A Instructions for submitting bids and complete specifications will be available in the Office of the Procurement Manager, Greenville Utilities Commission, 401 S. Greene Street, Greenville, North Carolina during regular office hours, which are 8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday through Friday. The Successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate Performance and Payment Bonds executed on the forms bound herein in amounts at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price as security for the faithful performance of this Contract and as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials and equipment in connection with this Contract. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a cashiers check, or certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or the Savings Association Insurance Fund, or an original signed/sealed Bid Bond in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Proposal; said deposit to be retained by the Owner as liquidated damages in event of failure of the Successful Bidder to execute the Contract within ten (10) days after the award. Greenville Utilities Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
