The lowest responsive bidder must demonstrate successful completion of projects of similar size and scope to be considered for the award of this contract. Location: In the towns of Lincoln, Winn, Mattawamkeag, Molunkus Township, Macwahoc Plantation in Penobscot and Aroostook Counties U.S. Route 2 in Milford, beginning at the Old Town - Milford town line (MP 156.27) and extending northerly to the junction of Cardville Road in Greenbush (MP 168.76) for a total distance of 12.49 centerline miles (24.98 lane miles). Outline of Work: Snow plowing and ice control The initial term of this contract is for three (3) years, beginning October 15, 2022 and ending May 1, 2025. The contract term may be extended on an annual basis for up to five (5) additional years upon mutual agreement between MaineDOT and the contractor. Electronic bids do not have to be accompanied by paper bids. Please note: The Department will accept a facsimile of the bid bond; however, the original bid bond must then be received at the MDOT Contract Section within 72 hours of the bid opening. Until further notice, dual bids (one paper, one electronic) will be accepted, with the paper copy taking precedence.
