Instructions to Contractors & Scope of Work This Request for Proposal is issued by the Licking R-VIII School District to obtain proposals for the construction of a bus barn building. The successful Contractor shall perform the required work at the time and place designated by The Office of the Superintendent. All work shall be completed within 30 days of the start date indicated in the Notice to Proceed. Contractors shall submit proposals for jobs as described in the Scope of Work. All Contractors shall be properly licensed. Construction projects less than $75,000 do not require prevailing wage. Areas to be Addressed 1. 124 Maple Avenue; bus barn building a. Mechanic Shop: i. During the initial site visit, the Maintenance Supervisor will escort each Contractor and brief them on their requirements. ii. Two sets of 14' garage doors with electric openers. iii. One single stall bathroom and handwashing sink. 2. 124 Maple Avenue; covered bus parking a. 60' wide x 100' long Each site described is based upon an approximation; therefore each interested Contractor is required to visit the site so that they may submit their most accurate proposal.
