Per the owner, as of May 23, 2024, an award has been made for this solicitation. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .............. Pursuant to the stated requirements for SB 169 funding, RCCD applied to the California State Department of Finance (DOF) for planning grants for the Colleges in October 2021 for first-time, affordable student housing. DOF reviewed the applications and recommended that Moreno Valley College receive $540,000; Norco College receive $590,000; and Riverside City College receive $470,000. The recommendations were approved in the budget signed in June, 2022. There will be two more rounds to apply for funding and the District intends to submit applications for construction grants for the Colleges in October, 2022. The District has completed Market and Demand and Financial Analyses ("Analyses) for each of the Colleges. The SB 169 grant applications will be informed by the outcomes of the Analyses as well as the services of an Architecture firm and potentially other consultants and engineers such as survey, geotechnical, and environmental. The District has engaged The Scion Group (Scion) and Volz Company (Volz) to work alongside the District and the Colleges to lead and coordinate the grant applications. Vendors are responsible for confirmation that they have viewed all addenda prior to the RFQ/P deadline and will be required to acknowledge addenda on their proposal form. Original proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope/package, clearly marked with the RFQ/P name and number, and addressed to the DISTRICT at: Riverside Community College District, Purchasing Department, 3801 Market St., Riverside, CA 92501.
