The Town of Nantucket, by and through the Nantucket Historical Commission, is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the "Town of Nantucket Fish Lots - Brant Point / Cliffside Neighborhoods Historic Properties Survey." The Town of Nantucket is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake an intensive-level, community-wide survey of cultural and architectural resources in the Town of Nantucket. This Request for Quotations (RFQ) stipulates the procedures and requirements to be used by the Town in its selection for consulting services. The project will be divided into four phases, to be completed over a nine-month period. The Town of Nantucket will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vender whose offer meets the stated requirements from project experience, sample products, qualifications, project approach, and client references, and the lowest prices. The request for quotations (RFQ), containing scope of work, vendor qualifications and response requirements will be/is available upon request after 10:00am, July 27, 2022 by emailing procurement@nantucket-ma.gov or via the website. Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master's degree in any of the above mentioned areas. Questions regarding the RFQ must be written and emailed to procurement@nantucket-ma.gov. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
