Site work for a municipal facility in Maiden, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
As of September 21, 2022, the project has been awarded to Fiber Optic Solutions Inc. for $84,859.10. An itemized description including linear footage, pole count, and slack storage areas per run is attached. Bids need to be itemized on this sheet to show the Labor cost, Installation Hardware cost, and Other Installation expenses, per each run. The Fiber will be provided by the Town of Maiden. We will be using ADSS 72 count fiber. Contractors may inspect the property at any time agreeable to themselves and the Chief Information Officer, Tammy Hawn @ (828)428-5007. Contractors are HIGHLY encouraged to inspect the project prior to bidding. Small businesses, minority-owned firms, and women's business enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to bid. Davis-Bacon Requirements. All contracts and subcontracts awarded in excess of $2,000 as part of the Project shall comply with the wage requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3144, 3146 and 3147 (2002). All contractors and subcontractors must be properly licensed under the North Carolina State Laws governing their respective trades at the time of submitting the bids. Final payment will be made upon completion and acceptance of work.
