Prequalification of general contractors for the Bowmanville Avenue over Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited (CPKC) bridge replacement (Burketon) (Site ID 057012), in the Municipality of Clarington. This Request for Prequalification (the RFPQ) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Durham (the Region) to prospective respondents to submit responses for RFPQ-1029-2024 Prequalification of General Contractors for the Bowmanville Avenue over CPKC bridge replacement (Burketon) (Site ID 057012), in the Municipality of Clarington, as further described in Section A-1 of the RFPQ particulars (Appendix A) (the Deliverables). It is the Regions intention to prequalify top five (5) scoring Respondents who demonstrate their past experience successfully completing projects involving staged bridge replacement construction over an active rail track within CPKC railway corridor and meet the minimum evaluation criteria threshold scores outlined in Appendix A-6. Selected respondents will be placed on a list of qualified contractors (Contractor). Contractors may be provided with an opportunity to bid competitively (invitational second-stage competitive process) on an anticipated subsequent construction tender for the Bowmanville Ave. over CPKC bridge (Burketon Bridge) replacement in the Municipality of Clarington (RFT).
