Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Boise, Idaho. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of Aug 25 the project was rejected. Construct new and reconstruct existing ADA pedestrian curb ramps and install detectable warning surfaces. The ADA improvements will require a combination of removing existing concrete, new concrete placement, and detectable warning surface installation to meet ADA requirements. Traffic control barriers will be necessary to prevent vehicles and pedestrians from entering the work zones. The scope of the item being sought to purchase is: BOI Terminal ADA Improvements work includes improving existing pedestrian locations outside of the terminal building at the Boise Airport to comply with current ADA Standards. These locations are to maintain proper slopes and detectable warning domes. The city references ISPWC standards and specifications for work being complete. The project is a calendar day contract. The construction consists of one schedule of work and shall be completed within 60 calendar days. There is no federal funding involved in this project.
