Project involves the reconstruction of Info Highway Ct, including the installation of 300 L.F. of curb and gutter remove and replace, 162 feet of 15-inch, 198 feet of 18-inch, 61 feet of 24-inch HERCP storm sewer, storm inlets, manholes, 2,150 S.Y. pulverization, 600 tons of asphaltic pavement and 200 S.Y. landscaping. Project also includes Mandatory Alternate of pulverize and overlay of 1,250 S.Y. of asphaltic pavement at Well #5. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Slinger and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Slinger reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to the Village of Slinger at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Slinger equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Slinger as liquidated damages.
