Site work for a water / sewer project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the installation of new water mains on Ashland Avenue, Balfour Avenue, Clare Avenue, Hay Street and Fisher Street within the City of Winnipeg. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 1835 meters of 150-200 mm PVC water main pipe and related appurtenances by trenchless methods; (b) Abandonment of existing water mains as required; (c) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; (d) Installation of new valves and hydrant assemblies; (e) Reconnection and/or renewal of water service connections; (f) Restoration of pavement and boulevards. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
