Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** Base bid proposal scope of work involves rehabilitating the non-extended length of parallel Taxiway "A" (5,500-ft in length and 50-ft in width) along with various lengths of the connecting taxiways; "A1" (125-ft in length from the parallel taxiway to the runway safety area); "A2" (225-ft in length from the aircraft apron to the parallel taxiway); "A3" (350-ft in length from the aircraft apron to the runway safety area); "A4" (225-ft in length from the aircraft apron to the parallel taxiway); and "A5" (350-ft in length from the aircraft apron to the runway safety area) by cold milling 2.25-inches of the existing HMA surface asphalt pavement; evaluating the condition of the exposed HMA base asphalt pavement for crack and joint repair or fulldepth pavement replacement (patching) based on a visual inspection and proof-roll; performing any necessary crack and joint repairs and patching repairs, placing emulsified asphalt tack coat on the milled surface, placing and compacting a variable (nominal 1.25-inch) leveling course of new HMA surface asphalt; placing and compacting a uniform 1.75-inch course of new HMA surface asphalt; placing any necessary topsoil fill adjacent to the new taxiway pavement if drop-offs exceed 3-inches; placing temporary and permanent taxiway pavement markings, and sodding any disturbed areas as more specifically set out in the Plans and Specifications. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding if such waiver is in its best interests and conforms to local laws pertaining to the letting of construction contracts and to reject any and all bids.
