Renovation of a multi-residential development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Method of Award: This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). Brooklyn DDSOO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude. Brooklyn DDSOO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to or not to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and Signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. Brooklyn DDSOO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. Brooklyn DDSOO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding. Please note all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitors log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the maintenance department. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 30% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 7% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Please note there is a mandatory scheduled site visit. When submitting your quote, be sure to include a cost breakdown (materials, labor, and overhead) and list number. Contract term: TBD County(ies): All NYS counties Location: 647 Degraw Street 2FL Brooklyn NY 11217 . The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following 1 Full demolition of bathroom 2 replace any rotted wood behind walls and floor 3 Install new shower with 3 mil. PVC Shower liner shower drain, mud floor and tile 4 install new shower diverter (delta or American Standard) 5 Install 1/4" wonder board In shower area with red Gard waterproofing 6 Tile shower pan and shower wall all the way to ceiling 8 install new mud floor and floor tile 9 outside of shower area install new >2 water/mold proof gypsum board throughout rest of bathroom 10 tile half way up walls, tape compound and paint rest of walls door and moldings 11 install new toilet, vanity, vanity sink, vanity mirror, lights, light switch, GFIC outlet and exhaust fan
