The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research through this source sought notice to help determine the availability of qualified Businesses within registered under NAICS code 238110 Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors PSC: Z2JZ Repair Or Alteration Of Miscellaneous Buildings. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, small veteran owned, or service-disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS 238990 and Brand Name or Equal Too. Consistent with Public Law 109-461 VA's Veterans First Contracting Program , first priority would be given to SDVOSB and VOSB concerns, should there be sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside if the requirement goes to solicitation. Nature and/or Description of the Action Being Processed: The Hampton Veteran s Affairs Medical Center requires construction of a sidewalk along Dialysis Building 113A. Construct approximately 400 square feet of sidewalk to connect to the sidewalk running parallel to the east side of the dialysis building, 113A. The dialysis building s construction did not include a sidewalk leading to the biomed room. To provide necessary equipment to the biomed room, a sidewalk extension is required that leads from the existing sidewalk on the side of the building to the exit of the biomed room. Work shall comply with VA specifications, particularly Master Construction Specifications, PG-18-1 for concrete, Site Design Manual, PG-18-10, and accessibility requirements per ADA and VA Barrier-Free design, PG-18-13, standards.
