For Snow Plowing/Snow Removal and Road Salting Services The Borough assumes no responsibility for loss or non-delivery of any bid sent to it prior to the bid opening. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127, (NJAC 17:27), Affirmative Action Plan, and P.L. 1977, c. 33, Disclosure Statement, and all other requirements as set forth in the General Conditions and Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00, payable to the Borough of Saddle River, and a Consent of Surety; the surety shall be bound to furnish Performance and Payment bonds as required in the General Conditions and Instructions to Bidders. The Borough of Saddle River reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or to accept a bid which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Borough. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids.
