The Scope of Work is expected to be completed within three years as the On-Call contract will be for a three year term. On-Call services can include but is not limited to the following services: o Third party reviews of geotechnical (soils and geology) reports for planned developments o Geotechnical monitoring during construction of large development projects o Extensive review and/or forensic investigations of retaining walls and/or slope failures o Preparing Geotechnical reports for City capital improvement projects including vertical, horizontal, or underground projects o Materials testing for City capital improvement projects including utility trench backfill o Review of slope and drainage conditions as needed o Geologic and Geotechnical site reconnaissance o Independent review of geological hazard areas o Conduct field exploration including corings and borings o Laboratory testing of site soils including maximum dry density, optimum moisture content, A-value, and compaction testing o Laboratory testing of backfill material, aggregate base, sand bedding, etc. o Attend pre-construction meetings and field construction meetings as needed o Provide batch plant inspection for concrete and asphalt o Perform compressive strength testing of concrete o Determine adequacy of backfill for retaining walls and drainage o Review wall designs including retaining walls, MSE walls, etc. o Pavement Design and Pavement Analysis o Pavement evaluation including coring and deflection testing o Construction Oversight during City Projects Pre-Bid Meeting No Project Type RFP (Request for Proposal) Response Types Response File Type of Award Lump Sum Categories 541330 - Engineering Services Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 08/24/2022 5:00 PM (PDT) Vendors must submit all questions pertaining to this project through the City's Online Bid Management System, by selection the "Q&A" tab.
