You are invited to bid on replacing the irrigation pump station and pumps at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course, located at 206 Terry Plains Road in Bloomfield CT. . The Town expects the project to start after November 1, 2023 and be completed on or before March 15, 2024. This date is firm and all bidders shall be willing to comply with this schedule when submitting a bid. If the opportunity presents itself and is agreed upon by both the Contractor, and Town, acting thru the Wintonbury Hills Golf Course General Manager, and Wintonbury Hills Golf Course Superintendent work may begin at an earlier time if conditions are conducive for both the Contractor and Golf Course. Regardless of any agreement discussed between the Contractor and Golf Course, all work must be completed prior to March 15, 2024.This date is firm and all bidders shall be willing to comply with this schedule when submitting a bid. The general scope of work for the project includes removing the existing equipment and installing new pumping system and perform necessary electrical and other work, all as per the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be responsible for paying prevailing wages, as determined by the Connecticut Department of Labor, and attached hereto, pursuant to CGS 31-53. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The Town of Bloomfield is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
