The work includes installing temporary fencing to secure site during construction; removing the pumping equipment from a depth of 670 - feet (670) performing any necessary mechanical cleaning to ensure a clear survey; televising the well with a color camera with side-look view; installing a temporary pump; performing an induction survey; reinstalling the pump, motor, column assembly and accessories to a depth of 600-feet (600); bacteriological testing; performing water well performance test; disinfecting the water well; performing water sampling and testing before and after water well rework; and hydromulch seeding. Alternate Bid Items, as approved by the Engineer, include replacing the pump and replacing the 200 hp motor; sounding the lap; performing any necessary mechanical and chemical rehabilitation to the well; agitating and airlift pumping; replacing all column assembly components; and all items needed for a functioning well. Supplemental Bid Item, as approved by the Engineer, include replacing the 950-gpm pump with a 650-gpm pump. The bidder shall submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the State equal to two percent (2%) cashiers check or five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner.
