Watermain, Class 52 D.I.P, 4", 6", 10" Fittings, D.I.P., Various Water Service Corporation, 1" Water Service Corporation, 1-1/2" Water Service Curb Stop and Box, 1-1/2" Inlet, 1-1/2" Outlet Water Service Curb Stop and Box, 1" Inlet, 1" Outlet Water Service Curb Stop and Box, 1" Inlet, 3/4 " Outlet Valve, Gate, 6", 10" Fire Hydrant Assembly, WM-201 Restrained Joint Coupler, 4", 6", 10" Polywrap Sanitary Sewer, C900 PVC, 4", 8",10", 12" Sanitary Sewer, C900 PVC, 8" Integral Restraint Joint. All proposals shall be made on official proposal forms furnished by the Engineer and shall contain worded and figured prices for the material bid on. All proposals shall be plainly legible, sealed, and addressed to: City of Milford, LeAnn Reinsbach, City Administrator, 806 N Avenue, Milford, IA 51351. Bidder shall submit a Bidder Status Form with their bid. Failure to submit a fully completed Bidder Status Form with the bid may result in the bid being deemed unresponsive and rejected. No submitted bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days from the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities is reserved. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa In accordance with Iowa statutes, a resident bidder shall be allowed a preference as against a nonresident bidder from a state or foreign country if that state or foreign country gives or requires any preference to bidders from that state or foreign country, including but not limited to any preference to bidders, the imposition of any type of labor force preference, or any other form of preferential treatment to bidders or laborers from that state or foreign country. The preference allowed shall be equal to the preference given or required by the state or foreign country in which the nonresident bidder is a resident. In the instance of a resident labor force preference, a nonresident bidder shall apply the same resident labor force preference to a public improvement in this state as would be required in the construction of a public improvement by the state or foreign country in which the nonresident bidder is a resident. The award of the contract will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
