Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Bidder shall provide all labor, equipment, and some materials necessary to install a total of 27 water service taps, consisting of 9 long services and 18 short services, at the locations indicated in Exhibit 2. This work will include the installation of stainless-steel saddles, 3/4 " corporation stops, 3/4 " meter setters, standard boxes, and 3/4 " CTS equivalent polyethylene pipe. ONWASA will provide the stainless-steel saddles, 3/4 " corporation stops, and the 3/4 " meter setters. The Contractor will be responsible for any restoration of any asphalt, concrete curb/gutter/sidewalk, road shoulder, and landscaping (including resodding) at each site. The Contractor will be responsible for traffic control and the scheduling of any water outages with ONWASA. NC Certified HUB Contractors are encouraged to submit bids for all bidding opportunities at ONWASA. All bids shall be notarized. Bidders responding to this RFB are hereby notified that North Carolina General Statutes relating to licensing of contractors will be observed in receiving bids and awarding contracts. ONWASA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept any bid which, in the opinion of ONWASA, appears to be in its best interest or to award this contract in part or total.
