The City of Raleigh Department of Transportation invites qualified firms to submit qualifications for on-call professional services as per the Mini Brooks Act (Qualification Based Selection) according to GS 143-64.31, for engineering services, to include construction administration (CA), construction engineering and inspection services (CEI), ADA/PROWAG evaluation and consulting for pedestrian facilities (ADA), asset/pavement preservation contract scope development and consulting, and construction materials testing (CMT) required for Sidewalk Installation; Sidewalk Repair; Sealing of Existing Pavement Cracks and Joints; Asphalt Surface Treatment; Bridge Deck, Superstructure and Substructure Repair. Improvement projects may include but are not limited to all aspects of road construction and maintenance as defined by the latest versions of the City of Raleigh Standard Details, the NCDOT Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is for the City of Raleigh Department of Transportation to secure up to 8 qualified firms to provide the professional services identified above. The City may elect to secure fewer firms based on the number of firms qualified to provide the professional services identified above. The professional engineering services required for these types of projects would be an on call as needed basis for three years from the date of executed contract(s) with options to renew. Anticipated projects designated as suitable for the on-call services contract will have an anticipated cost no greater than $2,500,000.00. These are City of Raleigh projects, and the selected firm(s) will contract directly with the City of Raleigh. Master Agreements will be set up on a not to exceed basis with individual scope of works for each project(s). Question Deadline 08/10/2022 City Response to Questions (anticipated) August 17, 2022.
