SCOPE OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONS Tyger River Correctional Institution Wastewater Treatment Plant Magna Rotor Aerator (with baffles) Two (2) Magna Rotor Aerators with baffles, to be 42-in. diameter x 13 feet long for installation in existing wastewater treatment facility Rotors consisting of-(each): Central Torque tube with star shaped detachable stainless-steel blades placed in a helical shape around torque tube, end plates and outboard and inboard pillow block bearings. Drive assembly consisting of shaft mounted, double reduction helical gear unit, fabricated steel motor mounting plate. Reducer connected to motor through sheaves and V-belts complete with belt guard. 10 hp motor, 1750 rpm, 3-phase, 60 Hertz, 230/460-volt horizontal, normal starting torque, continuous duty , TEFC. Item splash plates and frames with seals for mounting on vertical wall. Flow control baffle fabricated of 1/4 -in. steel and reinforced with steel shapes and plate. Angular adjustment will be provided. Baffle mounting assemblies fabricated of steel shapes and plates Set of anchor bolts, stainless-steel, for outboard and inboard bearing, splash plate, cover support, and baffle mounting Freight & tariff surcharges must be included in price-Delivery is 180 days ARO Note: Each Rotor length is factory assembled and finish painted. The contractor will set the inboard & outboard bearings. Shaft & bearings must be carefully aligned both horizontally and vertically. The baffle support and cover support must be leveled & fastened to the anchors. All ferrous metal parts above and below the water level will be grit blasted & receive a shop coat of Tnemec #69 or #161 Primer or Tnemec Series 1 Omnithane Primer. Rotor torque tubes only will receive two (2) shop coats of Tnemec N69 or N69F Hi-Build Epoxoline II. Aluminum, stainless-steel & galvanized steel parts will not be shop painted. Motors & reducers will receive a shop coat of machinery enamel. If the using governmental unit requests delivery sooner than the time specified, contractor may invoice the ordering entity any additional shipping charges approved by the ordering entity on the purchase order. We may also consider a documented commitment from a satisfactory source that will provide you with a capability. We may consider information from any source at any time prior to award. We may elect to consider (i) key personnel, any predecessor business, and any key personnel of any predecessor business, including any facts arising prior to the date a business was established, and/or (ii) any subcontractor you identify. (2) You must promptly furnish satisfactory evidence of responsibility upon request. Unreasonable failure to supply requested information is grounds for rejection. (3) Corporate subsidiaries are cautioned that the financial capability of an affiliated or parent company will not be considered in determining financial capability; however, we may elect to consider any security, e.g., letter of credit, performance bond, parent-company corporate guaranty, that you offer to provide.
