Site work for a water / sewer project in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Flood mitigation improvements in Ottewell and the surrounding neighbourhoods in Edmonton, Alberta. The neighbourhood is bounded by 75 St to the west, 50 St to the east, 90 Ave to the sought, and 98 Ave and Terrace Road to the north. The dry pond storage is proposed to be located at the site of Ottewell Park at 94 Ave & 62 Street, and will have an estimated potential storage of 50,000 m3. Approx. 800 m of storm sewer piping is proposed to connect the dry pond to the storm sewer system surrounding the dry pond. An additional 2050 m of sewer separation is proposed within the neighbourhood to direct storm water to the pond. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for construction management services closed at the owner on Oct 16, 2023. The project is currently in the Preliminary Design Phase with construction anticipated to occur 2024 - 2026, with a potential for early Works in 2023. Further update may be published, pending award of contract. *Budget is unreleased.
