This Request for Tender is being issued by the Vancouver Island Health Authority ("Island Health") as it is seeking tenders from bidders to complete LENEL Door Access System Replacement. The project intent is to replace the existing outdated door access system with a new LENEL system to match VIHA standards. Work of this contract shall include all labour, materials, construction work, site preparation and equipment to replace the existing access control system with a LENEL access control system at West Coast General Hospital at 3949 Port Alberni Highway, Port Alberni BC as indicated in the Contract Documents. All bidders must be approved LENEL integrators, or list an approved LENEL integrator as a subcontractor. .1 Work of this contract shall include all labour, materials, construction work, site preparation and equipment, for electrical necessary for the selective demolition, modifications, and new construction at the west coast general hospital at 3949 Port Alberni Highway, Port Alberni BC. as indicated in the Contract Documents. .2 The project intent is to replace the existing outdated door access system with new Lenel system to match VIHA standards. .3 Division of the Work among Subcontractors, suppliers or vendors is solely the Contractor’s responsibility. Neither the Owner nor Consultant assumes any responsibility to act as an arbiter to establish subcontract terms between sectors or disciplines of work.
