Renovation of a fire / police facility in Nevada City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project Scope: Replacement of siding and repaint exterior of main building and front of the engine bay. Installation of new cement horizontal siding, soffit, gable covers, trim around windows, and repaint for Fire Station 86, located at 12337 Banner Lava Cap Road, Nevada City, CA 95959. This is a public works project. Pursuant to Sections 1770 and 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, NCCFD has ascertained that prevailing wage rates are applicable to the work to be done. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of wages. NCCFD reserves the right to reject all bids. Qualifications: The Contractor shall possess the appropriate contractor's license(s) for the scope of work performed at the time the contract is awarded. All work shall be performed by a licensed, bonded and insured contractor and crew. A direct contractor that is awarded a public works contract involving an expenditure in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) shall, before commencement of work, give a payment and performance bond to and approved by the District.
