Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

SCOPE OF WORK: The City of Wilmington is seeking quotes to replace the main sewer service lines from the buildings to the manhole/street for the following locations listed below. General Service, supplies, and equipment to be provided by the contractor include, but are not limited to the following: o Labor, materials, and supplies o Tools and equipment o Location of utilities prior to excavation/digging (Approximate site location maps included below) o Removal and disposal of all waste o Site control and safety o General cleanup Project/Site Conditions - Project locations should be left in as close as possible original appearance as to when the project started. Bids must be contained in a sealed envelope, plainly marked, showing the name, Invitation to Bid number, date, time (if time is specified) and the bidder's name. Any company submitting a "No Bid" in response to an Invitation to Bid should clearly mark the outside of the envelope. Bids received after the due date and time will not be considered. Your bid must be in strict compliance with the specifications and offer the same services as requested in the Invitation to Bid. Bids may be withdrawn at any time prior to the due date and time specified upon written or personal request of the bidder. No quote may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled opening time (if the time is specified) and date. Negligence on the part of the bidder shall not constitute a right to withdraw the quote after the bids have been opened. Award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder taking into consideration quality, performance and time specified in the bid for the performance of the contract. Time of delivery and prompt payment discounts will be considered in breaking ties. Firms must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State or hold a Certificate of Authority to do business in the State of North Carolina. The City of Wilmington is exempt from and will not pay federal taxes. An exemption certificate will be furnished upon request. North Carolina and local sales tax shall be shown as a separate item. Sales tax will not be a consideration in the award. Bids shall remain open and valid for a period of thirty (90) days from the due date specified in the Invitation to Bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All questions must be submitted by August 16, 2022.
