Quotes (sent via hard copy, fax or email) will be received by the City of Perry, Oklahoma, a municipal corporation, at the office of the City Clerk of said City, located in City Hall, P.O. Drawer 798, Perry, Oklahoma 73077, 580-336-4098 until the day of August 2022 at 10:00 am. CST. and then publically opened and read on such same day at 10:10 a.m. CST for: Separate Quotes for the installation of certain park improvements at Century Park Briefly, they are as follows: All work will be performed in Century Park in Perry, Oklahoma. The Contractor will demolish the existing asphalt sidewalk and haul off to an approved site. If the dump location is in Perry, what amount may be deducted from the lump sum payment. The Contractor will construct concrete sidewalk which is 4" thick with #3 rebar 24" on centers. This sidewalk will be 5' wide with new sidewalk connecting the parking lot to the playground area. The contractor will backfill around the concrete. The Contractor will provide for two (2) pickle ball courts: 60' x 60', 4" thick with #3 rebar on 18" centers. Contractor will remove the existing concrete sand, RR ties, volleyball net and posts, grade are in preparation of building the courts with 4" sub grade installed and compacted and backfill around the concrete. A depiction of the park improvements are attached to this contract and show lengths and widths and relative locations of the park improvements. This bid is for the construction of the park improvements in Century Park in Perry, Oklahoma. The bid will provide a lump sum bid, minus state or local sales tax, and including all delivery, insurance and other costs. A copy of a sample purchase contract is also part of the specifications. Please details any amendments, deletions or additions desired to such contract. All bids shall be in substantial compliance with the terms and conditions of the specifications and all bidders shall specifically set out in their bid all deviations and differences between their bid and the specifications. Bids shall not include state or local sales or excise taxes. The governing body may waive any and all deviations from the specifications as deemed to be in the best interest of the City in their sole discretion. To bid, the attached contract (filled in with name of contractor, bid price, etc.) including the containing the bidder's name, address, all contact numbers and e-mail addresses and bid amount, fully executed non-collusion affidavit, with all documents executed by the authorized representatives, should be placed in a sealed envelope marked "Quote for Park Improvements at Century Park" OR EMAILED TO THE City Clerk, city.clerk@cityofperryok. com, before the end of time for the receipt of bids. The City will contract with the lowest responsible bidder or may reject all bids or take other action in its best interest. The City reserves the right to require a performance bond at not more than cost (do not include that cost; if successful, and if assembly is desired, bond may be required). The City of Perry reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities. Should the City fail to receive a bid which meets or exceeds the specifications, it may, at its option, award to the bidder whose bid best satisfies the requirements contained within the specifications as determined by the City Council.
