LaGrange County, Indiana ("County"), by and through its Board of Commissioners ("Owner"), will receive bids for the 2022 Lagrange County Road CCMG Project for the reconstruction of CR S 300 W, from CR W 550 S to CR W 200 S. The Project is generally described as follows: the milling in place of existing asphalt 4" with grading and compaction, placement of HMA intermediate 2.0", placement of HMA surface 2.5", shoulder stone, and pavement marking striping. Each bid that is timely submitted in conformity with the bid package will be opened at such meeting and read aloud. An award is expected to be made at the meeting or later as announced. Any bid received after the Deadline will be returned unopened. All bids submitted are to be in accordance with the Bidding Documents, the terms of which shall control throughout the bid process. Please direct all questions and inquiries to the County Engineer. Each bid shall be accompanied by a completed Form No. 96 (latest version) and acceptable Bid Security (i.e., certified check made payable to the County or an acceptable bid bond) in the amount equal to 10% of the total bid price executed by a qualified surety. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract price will be required from the Contractor to whom the work is awarded. Any bid not accompanied by the above-required items shall be deemed a non-responsive bid. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within a period of 60 days following the Deadline and said bid shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the Contract to any Bidder all to the advantage of the County of LaGrange or to reject all bids.
