The intent of this request for proposal is to purchase assistive listening devices, and repair of same, in addition to audiology equipment, supplies, and services for students of Plano Independent School District and for students served by the Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (PRDSPD) in public school programs throughout Collin County. Plano ISD may award this contract to multiple vendors in order to best serve the needs of the District. 3 TERM: The term of the contract will be for one year from date of Board approval and all prices and discounts must remain firm for this period of time. There is also an option to extend the bid for four additional one-year terms, if all key parties agree. At that time, if there are industry-wide increases or circumstances beyond your control that can be documented, we will consider price increases for the awarded line items involved. This decision will be made by Plano ISD and PRDSPD in their best interests at that time. ANNUAL EXPENDITURE: The estimated annual expenditure for this contract is approximately $350,000.00 per year. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon actual needs and available funding. Purchases will be based on student evaluations that will be completed by the school audiologist and, therefore, not all items in this request for proposal may be ordered.
