GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Replacement of five (5) existing package rooftop air handlers including permitting documents for submission to City of Wood Dale, structural support and any engineering that may be required for new roof HVAC equipment, curb adapters for replacement equipment if required, labor to make safe of the existing RTU equipment - disconnect power, disconnect controls, isolate and disconnect gas connection, recover refrigerant, labor to receive, uncrate and assemble loose options (i.e. transformers, disconnects, economizers, relief dampers, etc.) prior to the coordinated lift date, procuring replacement equipment including receiving and storing until the defined lift date, crane and trucking services for handling and coordination on the lift date to replace existing package rooftop equipment, labor to remove and replace existing package rooftop air handlers with new package rooftop air handlers including connecting power, controls, and gas to the new equipment, provide conduit, wire whip, gas pipe as required for new RTU configuration tie-in points, startup technician labor to startup the new replacement packaged rooftop air handling units, closeout documents including all manuals and warranty letters, one-year parts and labor warranty. The successful bidder shall pay prevailing wage including pay to any subcontractors, shall provide certified payrolls to the District for the duration of the project, shall include all work and equipment rental to be performed on regular time for the duration of the project.
